Harrison Saw and Tool have become the sole UK agent for Czechoslovakian company Pegas Gonda who design and build a full range of Bandsaw Machinery. The majority of their machines are exported worldwide and they are particularly successful in Europe and Russia.
There are approximately 40 machines in the range commencing with small low cost machines progressing through to machines with a capacity in excess of 1.2metres. Within this range are the Pegas Twin Column Machines which are offered both semi and fully automatic in the range from 350 to 850mm diameter capacities.
They also have a Top Line Product the 510 Top Speed which has been specifically designed to use carbide blades.
Harrison Saw and Tool is the sole UK agent for Wikus, Europe’s largest manufacturer of Bandsaw Blades. The company and its products are well-known in the industry for quality and excellent customer service, they commenced trading almost 30 years ago and during that time they have built up the level of business to become the largest Bandsaw Blade Distributor in the UK putting them in an excellent position to promote the extensive Pegas Gonda brand.
They have achieved this position with excellent products, up to date and unique manufacturing technology, and a team of six technical Sales Managers covering the whole of the UK who will be promoting the new Pegas Gonda range.
Harrison Saw and Tool's Sales Director, John Cookson, believes the two companies are an excellent fit as both Harrison and Pegas Gonda are family based companies whose founders along with their families are still heavily involved in driving their respective companies forward and taking on new challenges.
